When you have a toddler, life becomes chaotic, unpredictable and very, very busy. And no one knows this better than photographer Anna Angenend’s because when her friends were preparing to send their preschool-aged kids to school in August 2014, she was gearing up for another year of messy adventures at home with her toddler daughter Mia, who wasn’t old enough for preschool yet.
As a freelance photographer, Anna spends her days taking picture-perfect photographs of other people’s ideal moments. But when she decided to create a record of her own family, she opted to do something a little different. She loves to recreate a realistic set of photos of life at home with the exhausting yet endearing stage to contrast the posed-for portrait photos everyone has on their sideboard. Anna’s mom life series captures scenes that every mother can relate to. Scroll on to see many chaotic activities from her collection listed below and enjoy peeps!
