Most often the color palette that we associate with history is limited to black and white which makes us distant and disconnected from the real and vibrant world all historic photos are actually portraying.
Dana Keller has made a name for himself as a talented photo colorizer with over 10 years’ experience in the digital arts and a master’s in archival science. He brings us emotionally closer to our roots by colorizing the old photographs from ancient eras. Keller does a considerable amount of research and adds up even the shrewdest of details with as much historical accuracy as possible. His subjects have included figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Audrey Hepburn, and several others.
Listed in this post are some of our favorite photos from his collection. Scroll on peeps and enjoy!
